Preserving History, Prioritizing Accessibility

Capital Campaign for ADA Accessibility Renovations to the Fancher School House

The Central Sands Community High School is a tuition-free, public, collaborative, sustainable high school working out of the core principles of Public Waldorf Education that opened in Fall 2022.  Our learning community utilizes an integrated curriculum to cultivate mindful leaders in an ever-changing world right here in Central Wisconsin.

It is imperative to us that our building is accessible and welcoming for all students.  Our school operates out of the historic Fancher schoolhouse which was built in 1934 and used as a parochial school until 1970.   As no modern renovations have been completed in many decades, our immediate needs are a wheelchair accessible/ADA compliant, gender neutral bathrooms and an accessible wheelchair lift into the building on the schoolhouses’ West side.

This important work is supported largely by the generous donors who contribute to this current campaign. We have a goal of $280,000, which will allow Central Sands Community High School to make ADA accessibility & safety renovations to this historic schoolhouse. Without the continued support of generous donors like you, these needs will likely go unmet.
