High School Math Teacher (Part-Time)

Central Sands Community High School seeks certified High School Math Teacher candidates with proven teaching experience. Ideal candidates possess experience and/or an interest in Waldorf education, a multi-disciplinary background, a commitment to sustainability, and a dedication to serving a diverse student population. FTE has the potential to expand based upon student enrollment and the candidate's willingness/ability to fill various roles in the school.

The math courses include Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and could expand to Pre-Algebra and Geometry. Possible math electives could include Projective Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and college math. Candidates must be willing to develop curriculum for these courses.

Qualifications

  • Five years of teaching experience preferred

  • Waldorf teacher training and/or Waldorf teaching experience preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field

  • Wisconsin Teaching License with certification in High School Mathematics

Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Schedule: 2026/27 School Year, 1-2:30 pm Monday through Friday

Administrative Assistant & Food Service Coordinator (Part-Time)

The Administrative Assistant & Food Service Coordinator plays a vital role in the daily functioning of the school, balancing office management with food program coordination. This unique hybrid role supports both school operations and our student-centered meal program.

Responsibilities

Administrative

  • Manage attendance, data entry, and student records

  • Maintain files and ensure compliance with reporting requirements

  • Support communication (email, phone, front office)

  • Update website and social media platforms

  • Assist with purchasing, ordering, and basic bookkeeping support

  • Provide general administrative support to staff and leadership

Food Service

  • Plan and prepare meals and snacks for students

  • Develop menus aligned with budget and nutrition guidelines

  • Purchase food and supplies

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment, and ensure compliance with food safety standards

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Experience with administrative systems and/or food service preferred

  • Comfort with technology (Google Workspace, Quickbooks, JMC, student systems, etc.)

  • Ability to work independently and flexibly

  • Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule & Compensation

  • 2026/27 School Year

  • Part-time, 8 am until 1 pm, five days a week (approx. 25 hours/week)

  • $20/hour
