electives
Central Sands offers a variety of elective courses taught by our staff. During the first block of the school year, electives center around the Renaissance Faire, and during blocks 4 and 5, we focus on our winter play. We work together as a whole school community to put on these events, and there are a variety of learning experiences on offer in their development. Students can earn credit in theater, service learning, art, cooking, or career and technical education.
Electives
Students can choose from a variety of elective courses that include: Current Events, Outdoor Education and Natural Resources Management, Health, Comic Drawing, Philosophy, Career and College, Culinary Arts, Birdwatching, Mixed Media Arts, Painting, Diversity Studies, Mindfulness Yoga, Drawing, Pottery, Geology, and World Religion.
Spanish I and II and French I and II are offered in both semesters.
