Electives Faculty

Bonnie Beverstock
Movement

  • Bonnie is a native Wisconsinite living in Stevens Point. She holds a bachelors degrees in Fine Arts and Nursing, and is currently a professional knitter and part owner of a yarn shop.

She enjoys folk dancing, prefers dark chocolate and collects whistles shaped like birds. Bonnie has a husband named Will, and they have two grown kids.

Stacy O’Carroll
Transportation

  • Stacy lives in the beautiful Tomorrow River Valley with her husband and two kids, and is super happy to be part of the Central Sands community. When she is not driving the school van, you can find her out on the local trails and rivers, or just enjoying time with family and friends.

Alan Smith
CTE

  • Alan enjoys working with people on projects. While at CSCHS he was quite pleased to work with students to maintain and fix bicycles. For six years he volunteered to work on bicycles with people at Shifting Gears in Stevens Point.

He has been remodeling and building houses, it feels like all his life. The best times were while working with new carpenters, he would coach them on tool and saw usage. And of course demonstrate and guide them on the basics of house building.

Both of his children have had to suffer through years of helping him do carpentry projects. His daughter recently did all the contracting to rebuild and add on to her own house. While his son and son’s wife just finished adding a room to their dome house.

He is looking forward to doing some carpentry projects with CSCHS students this and next year.
