Registration & New Parent Orientation

Caregivers who are new to Central Sands Community High School are invited to attend an hour long session to finish 2025/2026 registration for their student. Faculty will also present on the 25/26 school year and what to expect as a newcomer to our learning community.

Remote Learning Day [PENDING]

Tuesday March 10th is Central Sands tentative testing window for the national ACT exam to be taken by all 11th grade students. Central Sands will confirm and update our calendar as soon as possible.

Grades 9, 10 and 12 will participate in remote learning on ACT exam day in order for our building to be used as testing site for the exam.

Remote Learning Day [TENTATIVE]

The national Pre-ACT exam window for Central Sands is tentaively scheduled on Thursday, April 9th 2025 for students in grades 9 & 10.

Grades 11 & 12 will participate in remote learning on the day of Pre-ACT exam, so that Central Sands can be utilized as testing site. We will update our calendars as soon the testing window is confirmed.

All school outing/ end of year field trip

Grades 9-12 will spend the afternoon at Skate City in Wisconsin Rapids for the end of year school outing. Permission slips will be sent home the week prior.

Clothes Swap!

Student council has organized a clothing swap!

Students may bring in clean and gently used shirts, pants, shoes, hats, gloves, scarf, sweaters and hoodies to swap. Participants may bring their items to the community room and place them on tables, which will be set up throughout the week. At the end of the week any unclaimed clothing items will be donated.

Shadow Day

We’re inviting you to experience a day in the life at our school! Join us to see firsthand what makes our learning environment unique. Arrive by 8:40 AM with a sack lunch and plan for pickup at 3:45 PM. Families are welcome to tour the school and meet our staff from 3:45 to 4:00 PM.
